Wood Art

Our WoodArt is made using a scroll saw, a Dremel tool and lots of hand sanding. There are four styles of scroll saw work. Fretwork is where a hole is drilled in the wood and the blade is put thru the wood to cut the fret (opening). Intarsia is the use of the colors of wood and wood grain to make the piece. Segmentation is where the wood is cut, then shaped, sanded, painted and glued back together. Compound cutting is where you cut from two different sides of the piece to get the effect you want.

All of the wood used is purchased from FSC certified vendors.
