ABout THe artist

 

Chuck  Carmack was born in the mountains of Western North Carolina and moved to the Coast in 1986.  His passion for photography started in high school when he joined a camera club where he learned to develop and print pictures. He has continued his education through the years with various classes and seminars.  The subjects of his photos have varied over the years, and since retirement, his interest has turned to nature photography.  After changing from film to digital, he found that his experience in the dark room has carried over into working with the digital format.
